By Asst. Chief Danny Beauvais
May 2, 2014

@ 01:49 Shepherds Fire & Engine 4 were alerted to a reported MVA with injuries involving a sedan & dump truck @ the intersection of Charlotte Hwy & Flower House Loop. Minutes later Chief 510 (Stutts) arrived on location with a 2 car MVC established command and would be out investigating. Mooresville Engine 4 arrived shortly after Chief 510 and assisted with pt care. Command instructed Rescue 5 to come around Engine 4 to setup the nightscan tower as well as assist with pt care and investigation. Personnel had only one pt (from the sedan) with no pin-in or entrapment. Upon arrival of EMS Med-Center Air was contacted due to possible head-injuries & leg trauma. Command utilized a nearby field at the scene for the LZ. Personnel from both agencies worked in handling the LZ. Upon arrival of Med-Center Air pt care was transferred and all units were assignment complete within one hour.
