@ 13:17 Shepherds was alerted to a reported MVA with injuries around the 2100 block of Statesville Hwy. After dispatch Engine 1 & Rescue 5 were responding to the location given. Rescue 5 arrived on location first and advised one suv off the roadway, checking for PI with command (Capt 530) established. Engine 1 arrived on scene right behind EMS and assisted with investigation. Personnel had one pt who was code 4 (Refused care/transport) and no hazards found from the vehicle. Engine 1 was released shortly after as Rescue 5 stayed on location for the arrival of NCSHP and the next rotation wrecker. All units were back in normal service within the hour.
