At 0:10hrs the infamous two tone pre-alert was given to Shepherds Fire along with Mooresville Engine 4 for a reported MVA involving a moped in which the rider had been run over by a passing vehicle around the 200 block of Rinehardt Rd. Moments later Shepherds had a member on location and advised ECOM he needed Med-Center Air to the scene ASAP for one pt who was critical. Once EMS arrived the pt was quickly packaged and loaded for transport to Lake Norman where sadly succumbed to the injuries at the hospital from traumatic injuries received in the accident.
