@ 13:11hrs Shepherds was alerted to assist Troutman with a reported building fire in the 500 block of Fern Hill Rd. Shortly after dispatch Shepherds Engine 3 was out the door and responding. Troutman Chief 111 (C.Morrow) arrived on location and advised smoke showing and a working fire. Troutman Engine 1 was the first piece of apparatus to arrive on location and went to work stretching their front bumper line for suppression. Shepherds Engine 3 arrived soon after, staged out on the road and provided assistance. The fire was quickly controlled as Command held the scene to 1 & 1 cancelling any further. Shepherds was cleared a short time later and was available within the hour.
