Engine 3 Responds To Second Working Fire In 2 Days This Time To Assist South Iredell

@ 19:17hrs Shepherds was alerted to assist South Iredell with a possible house fire around the 100 block of Willow Oak Lane. Several minutes after dispatch ECOM came back on the air to advise an off duty paramedic was on location advising of a working fire. Moments later South Iredell Engine 1 arrived on location confirmed same, began stretching lines and going into offense mode. As Mount Mourne & Shepherds units were just arriving on location an officer for South Iredell requested Engine 3 from Mooresville to the scene followed by Mooresville Engine 1. Shepherds Engine 3 personnel aboard (FF R.DeAndrea) assisted South Iredell personnel with performing horizontal ventilation via (Breaking glass, propping doors open on the involved side of the structure & also performed secondary search on all floors of the structure including removing pets which were found in various locations.) Within 35 minutes a control time was issued as command released both Engine's from Mooresville followed by Mount Mourne & Shepherds units. Engine 3 was assignment complete and back in service @ 20:24hrs.
