At tonight's April FF's meeting Asst. Chief Beauvais awarded firefighters Mike Bednarik & Darrell Williamson for their life saving efforts on a medical incident they responded to on March 15, 2014. Both men responded and arrived on location of a local medical where the pt was found not breathing. CPR was performed and FF Bednarik who carries a personal AED in his vehicle was able to successfully shock the pt multiple times and had them breathing before the arrival of paramedics. Shepherds is proud to know that since then the pt was discharged out of the hospital a few days later and is now home. Thank you men for your dedication and hard work.
