The daytime staff which (which is also comprised of our volunteers) have been working very hard in completing our training building back behind station 1. Members: Capt Taylor, Capt Craver & PT FF E.Phillips have made a big push in wrapping up the facility which will have a mock setup of a residential interior which will include 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room, denver drill and a maze where FF's will have to go up and over through tight crawl spaces and an entanglement box. Once completed in it's entirety members will be able to complete various training exercises such as: laddering the building, bailouts, searches, hose advancements, RIT & breaching through walls. Once furniture is purchased to fill in certain areas training will commence. Shepherds is looking to have the whole building up and running late April as the maze is already complete. Thank you to Capt.Taylor, Craver & Phillips for picking up the ball and rolling with it ensuring the long awaited task to complete for our members to use in future endeavors.
