@ 22:57 Shepherds along with Engine 4 were alerted to a reported MVA with injuries around the 200 block of Rinehardt Rd. ECOM advised that MPD was on scene with same. Rescue 5, Engine 4 & Chief 515 were all responding within seconds of each other. Shepherds FF Conley arrived on location and advised he had one vehicle on it’s top and that they couldn’t locate the driver of same. All apparatus and personnel in response arrived on scene and began assisting with investigation. The vehicle in question (Jeep Liberty) had significant damage to it with a heavy amount of blood found inside. Ironically Mooresville Engine 1 was dispatched shortly after to a local medical in a different part of town where the pt’s injuries did match up to the call Engine 1 received. It was quickly determined that Engine 1’s pt was indeed the driver of the MVA Shepherds & Engine 4 were on. Due to the mechanism and head injuries the pt sustained Med-Center Air was contacted. Back on Shepherds scene it was estimated that the vehicle traveled and barrel rolled 334ft off the roadway and landed in the homeowners front yard. Unit’s stayed on scene (With the exception of Engine 4)to assist MPD with investigation and for the local wrecker service to upright the vehicle before returning back to normal service.
