Troutman Chief 100 along with Troutman Engine 1 arrived on location and began to investigate. Rescue 5 along with Engine 2 arrived on the scene and were advised they could clear and that Troutman could handle same. All Shepherds units were assignment complete within 20 minutes.  <![CDATA[Shepherds Fire along with Mooresville Engine 4 were alerted to a MVA with injuries vehicle struck a tree around the 600 block of Shinnville Rd. After dispatch Mooresville Engine 4&nbsp;along with&nbsp;Shepherds Rescue 5 were in &amp;quot;Response Mode&amp;quot;. Upon arrival Mooresville Engine 4 OIC (Corriher) advised he had a single vehicle accident head on into a tree and on it's side. From looking at the damage to the vehicle Engine 4 pulled past to leave room for the Rescue Co. to get ready to extricate if need be. Luckily the driver of the vehicle had self-extricated himself and was out walking around suffering only a couple bumps and brusies with a slight cut to the head. Pt refused care and did not want to be transported.&nbsp;Units on scene checked for any hazards and all searches proved negative. Mooresville Engine 4 was released and command was transferred to 521 (Conley). Upon arrival of NCSHP same was turned over to him and all Shepherds units were assignment complete at 22:40hrs.

 	<title>Structure Fire Shinnville Rd</title>

 <![CDATA[Shepherds along with Troutman, Wayside&nbsp;&amp;amp; Mooresville Engine 4 were alerted to a possible&nbsp;structure fire&nbsp;around the 1300 block of Shinnville Rd. Mooresville Engine 4 along with Shepherds Engine 3 were both in &amp;quot;Responding Mode&amp;quot; within minutes after inital dispatch. While enroute ECOM alerted units that they were recieving multiple calls on same and that this would be a working fire. County deputies checked on scene to confirm same as the orange glow and&nbsp;smoke could be seen a short distance away. Engine&nbsp;4&nbsp;arrived on scene and went to work pulling the 1 3/4 crosslay and began attacking the fire from the front porch which was heavily involved. Shepherds Engine 3 arrived&nbsp;on scene hooked up to Engine 4 and provided water from it's 2000gal tank. Chief 500 (Robinson) arrived and&nbsp;assumed command. Other units began arriving shortly after and assisted by providing manpower and waiting&nbsp;in line to shuttle water&nbsp;when needed. The&nbsp;stubborn fire&nbsp;was contained about 30min in from initial&nbsp;attack&nbsp;and command began releasing the back up departments but kept all Shepherds and Mooresville units for overhaul and mop-up. Upon arrival of FM4 (Fire Marshal 4) scene was turned over to him and all units were assignment complete and back in service around 05:00hrs.

 	<title>MVA Vehicle On It's Side Charlotte Hwy</title>

 <![CDATA[The turkey gobble pre-alert was sounded alerting Shepherds Fire &amp;amp; Mooresville Engine 4 for a reported MVA with injuries vehicle on it's side with&nbsp;a possible entrapment around the 1600 block of Charlotte Hwy. Mooresville Engine 4, Shepherds Rescue 5 &amp;amp; Shepherds Engine 1 were all responding within 5 minutes after dispatch. Upon arrival of&nbsp;E4 OIC (Brawley) advised he had a single suv on its side with no entrapment party had self extrciated. Patient care was initiated while other units investigated the vehicle for fluid leaks and hazards. All searches proved negative on the vehicle. Upon arrival of EMS&nbsp;patient was packaged and loaded for transport to local hospital. Upon arrival of NCSHP same was turned over to them and all units were assignment complete back in service within 45 minutes.

 	<title>Working Box Truck Fire Assiting Troutman </title>

 <![CDATA[Troutman Fire was toned out to a possible vehicle fire involving a 
box truck on Pine State Rd. Troutman Chief 100 checked in followed by 
Troutman Engine 1. ECOM came back on the air and advised Chief 100 PD 
was on location and called a working fire getting close to a residence. 
With that information 100 advised ECOM to strike out a "Structure Fire" 
response thus adding Shepherds &amp;amp; Wayside FD's&nbsp;on
 the run. Upon arrival of Chief 100 and E1 they found a box truck fire 
with numerous mattresses involved. With limited manpower Command 
requested an extra Engine &amp;amp; Tanker from Shepherds. Shepherds E3, E2 
&amp;amp; T1 were all responding within minutes. E3 &amp;amp; E2 arrived on 
scene to assist with water supply &amp;amp; mop-up operations.&nbsp; A&nbsp;control time was given a short time later and Tanker 1 was cancelled. 20 minutes later Command released Shepherds and all units were back in service around 00:50hrs.  <![CDATA[Troutman, Shepherds, Wayside &amp;amp; Monticello FD's were dispatched to a reported Commercial structure fire around the 200 block of Murdock Rd. ECOM advised units they were recieving multiple calls reporting fire &amp;amp; smoke coming from the roof area of the building and that workers were attempting to put same out with fire extinguishers. Troutman Chief 100 checked in and advised ECOM to add Statesville Fire for their Tower 1. Minutes later Statesville Fire had Engine 1, Tower 1&nbsp;&amp;amp; Battalion 1 responding to same. Upon arrival of Chief 100 advised he indeed&nbsp;had smoke and fire showing cfrom the roof area possibly a HVAC unit. Troutman Engine 1 and Ladder 1 arrived on the scene and went to work. Shepherds Tanker 1 arrived on location and staged at a nearby plug ready to handle water supply operations if needed. A control time was given a short time later and Command released all units except for Troutman for mop-up operations. Rescue 5 along with Engine 4 were responding minutes after dispatch. 521 (T.Conley) arrived on location and advised he had a single vehicle on its side. After further investigation the subject involved had self extricated&nbsp;and the vehicle had a small gasoline leak. R5 &amp;amp; E4 arrived on scene and provided care to the pt and controlled the gas leak. Upon arrival of NCSHP same was turned over and all units were assignment complete.

 	<title>MVA Vehicle Rollover With 1 Entrapped</title>

 <![CDATA[During a heavy storm&nbsp;Troutman FD along with Shepherds to assist were dispatched to a MVA vehicle rollover on I-77SB around the 38mm. Shepherds Utility 2 &amp;amp; Engine 2 were on the 77 Bridge when the call came in and was on the scene within minutes after dispatch. 561 (Beauvais) advised he had a single vehicle&nbsp;SUV on its top. After further investigation one subject was found inside complaining of only&nbsp;shoulder pain&nbsp;but was unable to get out. The assignment was upgraded to a entrapment. Troutman Engine 1 led by (J.McCoy) was&nbsp;advised once on scene they would have to complete a "Door Pop".&nbsp;Engine&nbsp;1 arrived and completed the task within a matter of&nbsp;minutes.  <![CDATA[Shepherds Fire-Rescue has formed a softball team and is currently participating in The 2012 Mooresville Recreation Department League. The team consists of fellow Shepherds members as well as significant others and other fellow firefighters from surrounding FD's. Yesterday Shepherds won it's first game of the regular season improving to a record of 1-3. While there are still many other games to play the team seems to be coming along together well.  	<title>Tractor Trailer Fire I-77NB</title>

 <![CDATA[Shepherds &amp;amp; Troutman FD's were toned out for a reported tractor trailer fire on I-77NB just before the 42mm. After dispatch ECOM came back on the air with numerous calls on same and advised this would be a working fire. Troutman Engine 1 advised they had heavy smoke and flames while approaching 77. Shepherds Engine 1, Tanker 1 &amp;amp; Tanker 2 responded along with Shepherds Chief 500. Once on scene units found a tractor trailer carrying various vehicles with the truck portion and 3 cars involved. Troutman Chief 100 requested additional manpower and requested Engine 2 from Mooresville City. All units on scene worked together to extinguish same and prevented any further vehicles from becoming involved. Upon a through overhaul operation all units were cleared an hour and a half from dispatch. Upon clearing Shepherds was then toned out to assist with moving up to Sherills Ford-Terrell main headquarters while units were busy with a structure fire.
