Shepherds was dispatched to assist Troutman with a motor vehicle accident on I-77 NB around the 42mm. Within minutes Shepherds Rescue 5 and Engine 2 were both responding. Upon arrival of Troutman Engine 1 they advised they had one suv which indeed had rolled and that command was established. After further investigation they then advised they had one confirmed entrapment. Shepherds Engine 2 arrived shortly after along with Rescue 5 to assist. Due to the mechanism of injury CMC's helicopter was requested for the occupant in the vehicle. The patient was freed within 15 minutes to awaiting EMS personnel care. Upon the arrival of CMC pt was loaded and packaged for transport to Charlotte. Scene was turned over to NCSHP and all Troutman and Shepherds units were assignment complete.
