@ 09:34hrs Shepherds with Troutman & Mooresville Engine 5 were alerted to a reported MVA with injuries one head into a tree and down an embankment on I-77 NB @ 38mm. Minutes later Shepherds Engine 1 & Rescue 5 were out on the road responding. Mooresville Ladder 5 arrived on location minutes later and advised of one vehicle down a ravine and would be checking on PI. Ladder 5 OIC (J.Christie) advised of one PI with no pin-in or entrapment. Rescue 5 arrived moments later to assist crews with pt packaging and loading. Once complete, units remained on location for the arrival of NCSHP before going back into service within the hour.
