Seats 6 personnel, 1000ft LDH, 400ft stattic 2 1/2 hose, 200ft preconnect 2 1/2 , 2 200ft 1 3/4 preconnect attack lines with a 150ft 1 3/4 preconnect bumper line. Various firefighting equipment. Hurst Combi tool with cribbing to get started until RESCUE 5 arrives.

 

ENGINE 3 is a really used to serve as a tanker but is equipped to be an engine as well. It carries all the necessary tools and equipment to serve as an engine. Its response various depending on what and where the call is. It can respond first out to vehicle fires on Interstate 77 due to lack of hydrants and can supply water to other appratus when needed.

TANKER 1 (Scheduled to be replaced) is first out to any mutual aid fire alarm response on the north side of district and 2nd out on any primary Shepherds fire calls.  TANKER 1 is the sister truck to Tanker 2

TANKER 2 (Scheduled to be replaced) is first out to any mutual aid call on the west side of the district and 2nd out on any Shepherds fire calls.  TANKER 2 is the sister truck to TANKER 1.

RESCUE 5 is first out to any motor vehicle accident anywhere in the district as well as any water rescue situation, medicals, and mutual aid when requested.

Brush 1 is first out on any grass/woods fires, and can also respond to any medical calls where the road wouldnt be suffice for a fire apparatus.

Car 51 is a support vehicle for any activities or training classes used by Shepherds personnel. Its also used to carry manpower to aid other depts when needed.
